No, FarmBlocks is designed to be completely no-code. You can set up automation rules, monitor sensors, and control devices entirely through our intuitive web and mobile interfaces.

We sell a wide range of standard agricultural sensors for measuring soil moisture, temperature, humidity, light levels, and more. However, our controllers and no-code engine can also be used with external sensors. If you already have an existing sensor you want to connect to FarmBlocks, we can help you customize the integration.

While the Cloud Platform requires internet access for remote monitoring, the on-site hardware controller and logic run deterministically on the edge. This means your critical automation rules will continue to execute even if the internet connection is temporarily lost.

You can easily provision new nodes using our mobile companion app. Simply connect to the device via Bluetooth (BLE GATT), enter your farm’s WiFi credentials and MQTT server details, and the node will securely join your network.

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all communication, including AES-CCM for local BLE setup and TLS for MQTT telemetry and cloud connections. Your data and credentials remain secure.
